Back to normal then.....

That's it the World Cup fever is over and with that a fantastic performance from France. What a team. Fair enough we got beaten on penalties so not really then by a team known for their cheating and diving antics. What a ballet that was to watch those Italians trying to fly or play-act like children.

Being beaten by a team whose players come from the most corrupt and cheating league in the world is not that bad. Only their goal keeper is worth his wages. The others could do with dropping the Comedia Dell Arte lessons and learn to play football.

Still I am glad France went as far as it went in such a fashion because like many French people with little faith in our national team as they struggled to get out of the group stages, they proved us all wrong. It was great beating Spain, the Revenge of the Oldies, then Brazil (sorry, who?.....) and then the other actors of the tournament, Portugal. It was so enjoyable to see that Ronaldo crybaby mincer shed a few tears when Portugal were sent home. Lisa was so happy to see that lot who got England out of the competition in such a terrible fashion cry like wimps. A first in history whe you had the English cheering for France and Germany. A historic moment! ...Then there was the Zidane incident. You can't defend it because at his level he should be able to rise above any insult and racist taunts. Then again, if anyone insulted your poorly mother, sister and your background....still I think that idiot Italian player got what he deserved. The racist shit! On a technical note, it was quite a remarkable head-butt. Go Zidane you're still our hero!

So life has returned to normal.... The short film I have been working on for a while now has finally been shot. It was a great weekend with superb performances from the actors (Clarisse et Romain) and all involved from the camera work from Christian, to the soundman, Dan, to the runner cum makeup artist cum storyboard artist, Lisa and the clapman cum storyboard artist, my brother Bertrand.

I
t went well and now the gruelling editing process is under way....what a pain in the bum that is. But a necessary evil! So hat off to Christian again for taking that chore onto your shoulders (with my help...a bit).

Thanks to Dan for working on some crazy
piece of music for the film's score and to Ossuaire, Romain's heavy metal or whatever music genre they call themselves, for scoring the violent scene of the film and its gruesome ending.

Despite the hellish violence of this photo, no human beings or animals were hurt during the shoot. Looks good though!

And here is Romain, the lead actor, swotting up at the last minute to learn his lines. He was great!

Even down the stairway to Hell....whell the garage anyway where we filmed the death scene, it was fun!!!!

One pick up shot was needed for the film
so that's been done thatnks to Christophe and Lisa's feet. Indeed, I need to see the death victim of the film shake her legs in terror and agony.

As soon as the film is complete, then we'll put it on the net and send it to festivals. So watch out for "Surcharge Pondérale"!!!!

You see, it was fun!!!!!
